Our good friend, world record-breaking, seafaring and slightly beady-eyed Canuck, Ben Eadie is at it again. You might know him from an encounter at a SolidWorks event or from his multiple online presence at SolidMentor, SolidJott and MechanicalMashup. The latest of his offerings for the info-hungry SolidWorks user has just launched. Give a warm welcome to. UsingSolidWorks.com. Basically, it’s a site for learning SolidWorks through video tutorials. Very handy, if in fact you are using SolidWorks. Here are the dets!
Currently, there are over 4 hours of archived video content available on the site, with a new video coming to your screen each week. The videos are not set up like a course though. Ben says they’re driven by you and what you want to see and learn about. He’ll also provide a newsletter and host a weekly monthly webinar to bring in expertise discussing tips and topics across the different disciplines of the SolidWorks software.
Signing up for the newsletter is free, but for access to all the video content, the webinars and other goodies, there will a monthly subscription of $24.99 or a yearly one time payment of $199.00. However, you’ll get 20% off of either of those prices until the October 31st, 2010. (So, the price after the 20% discount will be 19.99/month and 159.25/year.) The coupon code is ‘Discount-20′.
Interested? You can join the site here or at the very least sign up for the free newsletter here and automatically be entered to win a whole, glorious seat of SolidWorks.
